ROWTOR - Transatlantic Golden Ale
Peak Ales UK and Dutchess Ales USA present ROWTOR - a bold and strong hoppy Golden Ale with a slight bitter taste - delicious.
Our collaboration with US brewery Dutchess Ales - ROWTOR 4.7% ABV is now available in 440ml cans. Brewed with with both US and UK hops; Challenger, Centennial and Harlequin.
Named by Mike from Dutchess Ales when he visited the Druid Inn Birchover. Behind the Druid Inn there is a rock formation called Rowtor Rocks and it was here that Mike was inspired and therefore named the ale ROWTOR.
Rowtor Rocks near the Druid Inn in the Peak District, hold a fascinating series of secret paths and carved steps that lead to an abundance of carvings. Thought to have been created by a local Parson of the church 300 years ago or as some believe it was the Ancient order of Druids.
