DPA

DPA
DPA

A higher gravity pale ale. DPA is a distinctive and refreshing beer that is well hopped with goldings for a smooth and slightly sweeter taste with a hint of spice.

Alcohol by volume –4.6%

Great with – Crisps, savoury snacks, a rack of lamb, ploughmans or chicken. Like a red wine, DPA provides a perfect complement to flavoursome dishes.

Notable fan – Local writer Andrew McCloy has written 20 bookson walking and local heritage, including 'Peakland Pubs: A Pint Sized History', and he says that DPA is the perfect refreshment at the end of a longwalk on the moors. "After I've been roaming the tops of Bleaklow and Kinder Scout, there's nothing I like better than heading for a decent country pub and enjoying a leisurely pint of DPA. It's wonderfully refreshing and dispels all my aches and pains, leaving me with a great feeling of contentment. Whether I can then get out of my chair is another matter."
