Visitor Centre

The brewery had left, but the barn is pretty special and we didn’t want to leave, so a brand new 3 stage plan to create a Brewery Visitor Centre & Gin Distillery was created, to consist of a brewery, a distillery, a shop and tasting room plus venue hire options.

Good things come to those who wait, after further renovations and hurdles similar to those we faced in the beginning, we completed the 1st and 2nd stage of this project by opening our brewery shop and venue hire in 2017 plus installing a 2.5 barrel pilot brewery in 2018, allowing us to experiment with new recipes and beer styles. The venue is available to hire for private functions, meetings and events. Keep an eye out for our various events starting again in spring 2019. We’re pushing ahead now with the final phase of the redevelopment due to include the installation of the gin still. The Visitor Centre is closed until 13th April for these works to take place. The brewery shop is still open every day apart from January weekends.

Book a brewery tour

Daily Brewery Tours
Your tour of our pilot brewery at the Visitor Centre will explain the beer making process from start to finish. You’ll gain an insight of all the raw materials and come away with a better understanding of how we brew our beers, you’ll then get to enjoy tasting the final delicious product at the bar.

These run daily during the week at 1pm, we have a maximum capacity of 20 people.

It’s worth noting that our brewery is not in operation over weekends and bank holidays, so if you’d prefer to see the brewing in action, it is usually best to visit us during the week.
