Our first tipple, Chatsworth Gin, uses botanicals from the Chatsworth Garden and Greenhouse including Lemon Verbena, Lemon Grass and the Imperial Lemon adding that natural freshness to the gin. Though the Imperial Lemons aren’t available all year round, regular lemons (still from the Chatsworth Greenhouse), are used otherwise, still providing a lovely tasting gin!
Most uniquely the leaves from the Cavendish banana, also from the Chatsworth Greenhouse, are used in this gin making it truly distinct.
We must also add, that the appearance of the bottle certainly looks luxurious and exactly what you’d expect of a high quality gin, that’s for sure!
The venue is available to hire for private functions, meetings and events, see more information below.
Keep an eye out for our various events starting again in spring 2020. Please note the tasting room is now bottle only until the New Year. The brewery shop is still open every day apart from January weekends.
Daily Brewery Tours
Currently we are unable to book brewery tours due to the current situation. However please get in contact with us if you would like to pencil a date in for later this year and we will call you once we are able to proceed again.
Your tour of our pilot brewery at the Visitor Centre will explain the beer making process from start to finish. You’ll gain an insight of all the raw materials and come away with a better understanding of how we brew our beers, you’ll then get to enjoy tasting the final delicious product at the bar.
These run daily during the week at 2pm, we have a maximum capacity of 20 people.
It’s worth noting that our brewery is not in operation over weekends and bank holidays, so if you’d prefer to see the brewing in action, it is usually best to visit us during the week.[/vc_column_text]

An amazing venue with great beer, highly recommend. Had my 40th there last night and it could not have been better in any way. Friendly bartenders · Perfect for parties · Knowledgeable staff · Craft beer ·
I had my 21st birthday party at the venue a couple of weeks ago now and what an amazing night it was ☺️ Thank you so much to everyone at peak ales for letting us use the space and just making my 21st such a fab night. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone and all the guests who came said how great the place was. Staff were all very lovely and helpful. Thank you to everyone at peak ales for making it a perfect night ❤️
Hello, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for letting us use your visitor centre for our daughter Charlotte’s wedding celebrations on 25th May. The barn made an absolutely ideal setting for a small wedding with its stone floors and beams – the perfect backdrop for Charlotte’s spring wedding. The countryside surroundings and views are idyllic and made a wonderful backdrop for photographs. We will certainly recommend your venue to our friends and would not hesitate in using it again for other celebrations. Please would you pass on our thanks to Ellie and Rosie, who were really friendly, helpful and supportive throughout.
The team were very flexible. New TV, lighting etc worked well. We are looking at timings for next year and will book again.

It is worth noting that we currently have a very limited car park, we are working on this for 2020.
